Hi, I’m Madeleine but everyone calls me Maddy. I’m the proud cat mum behind Tailsy.

I’ve always believed that pets are so much more than pets. They become part of our routines, our homes, and our families. They’re there for the quiet mornings, the busy days, the little moments in between, and somehow, they always know when we need a bit of extra comfort.

For me, that love started with my two cats, Tom and Nala.

They’ve both brought so much personality, companionship, and joy into my life, and like any cat mum, I’ve spent plenty of time looking for products that would make their lives happier, healthier, and a little more enjoyable.

But I also know how overwhelming it can be choosing things for our pets. There are so many products out there, and it’s not always easy to know what is genuinely worth bringing home. That’s where the idea for Tailsy began.

From a Cat Mum to a Pet-Loving Community

Tailsy was created from a simple idea: our pets deserve products chosen with the same care we put into choosing things for ourselves. I wanted to create a place where fur parents could discover products that are not only fun and beautiful, but practical, thoughtful, and genuinely useful for everyday life with their pets.

Everything starts with the same question I ask myself with Tom and Nala:

From playful little things that keep them entertained to products that make everyday pet parenting easier, my goal is to make finding something special for your furry family member feel simple and enjoyable.

Being a pet parent comes with so many little moments that make us smile. The excited little greeting when you come home. The favourite toy they refuse to give up. The ridiculous sleeping positions. The way they somehow manage to take over the entire bed. It’s those moments that remind me just how much our pets add to our lives.

Tailsy is my way of celebrating that bond. I hope it becomes a place where fellow pet parents can find something that makes their pets happy, brings a little more fun into their day, or simply reminds them how loved they are. Because at the end of the day, they’re not just our pets. They’re family.
